Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Bhava Company Ltd ("Bhava", "we", "us", "our"), based in London, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
Contact us about privacy at companybhava@gmail.com or +44 7434 781971.
2. The law that applies
We handle personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is our supervisory authority — you can find them at ico.org.uk.
3. What we collect and why
We only collect personal data when you actively give it to us. Specifically:
- Sponsor & advertising inquiries. If you use the inquiry form on this site, we collect your full name, email address, phone number (where required), the nature of your inquiry, and any message you write. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry — legal basis: legitimate interests in handling business correspondence, or consent where you've clearly given it by submitting the form.
- Ticket purchases. Tickets for Bhava 2026 are sold by our venue partner (Harrow Arts Centre) via their own booking platform. We do not receive or process your payment details, and any data you provide when buying a ticket is governed by their privacy policy, not this one.
We do not use this website to collect sensitive personal data, and we do not sell your data.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website uses the Meta Pixel (from Meta Platforms, Inc.) to measure the performance of our advertising — for example, understanding whether visitors who arrive from our ads go on to view the site. The pixel may set cookies and share limited usage data (such as the pages you visit) with Meta. You can learn more about how Meta uses this data in Meta's privacy policy. Video and audio on the site are streamed from a third-party content delivery host purely to serve the files — not to track visitors.
5. Who we share data with
Inquiry form submissions are transmitted to and processed by a third-party inquiry-management service we use to receive and organise messages — solely so we can respond to you. We don't share your data with anyone for their own marketing purposes. Where a service provider we use processes data outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) are in place.
6. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your inquiry and any follow-up, and then delete or anonymise it — typically within 24 months, unless we need to keep it longer for legal or accounting reasons.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it (access)
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data (rectification)
- Ask us to delete your data (erasure)
- Ask us to restrict or object to certain processing
- Ask for your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
- Complain to the ICO if you think we've got something wrong
To exercise any of these, email companybhava@gmail.com. We'll respond within one month.
8. Children
This website and its inquiry form are intended for adults (e.g. sponsors, advertisers, and event organisers), not children. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children through this site.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new feature that collects data. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do.
